ESC remains enabled for users after turning it off in Server Manager

Today I ran into a little problem that Microsoft Internet Explorer Security Configuration remained enabled for users while it was explicitly turned off in Server Manager in a Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 Remote Desktop Services environment.

I created the following registry key in Microsoft Group Policy Preferences which solved my problem.

Locate and then click the following registry subkey:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings\Zonemap
In the details pane, right-click IEHarden, click Modify, type 0 (zero) in the Value data box, and then click OK.
