Citrix Access Gateway Enterprise Error: Login exceeds maximum allowed users

Although you have enough licenses installed and have checked this for a fact, and you are experiencing the following error statement: “Error: Login exceeds maximum allowed users” when you exceed the number of 5 concurrent builtin platform licenses. In the screenshot below you see that there are 588 licenses installed.

Resolution:

Enter the following command with Citrix NetScaler (588 being the number of licenses that have to be installed).

set aaa parameter -maxAAAUsers 588
